Steam summer sale strikes again and a game I wouldn't buy has been bought just because of the sale. I have been wanting this game for a very long time, but I have not really felt the urge to buy it until now.
First impression of the game was quite boring in my opinion. The atmosphere is nice and it feels scary but just going around doesn't really make me tickle. After the first encounter with the xenomorph (the perfect organism, alien or whatever you want to call it) the game intensifies and becomes a lot more fun. As the game progresses it becomes a lot more fun and if you have seen the movies it's very funny because there are some easter eggs in the game.
Before I even start to "review" this title I will say this. If you don't like stealth games then this game is probably not for you.
The game is about Ripleys daughter trying to find out what happened Nostromo so you are going to a station where the flight recorder is. To your surprise the stations is not working as it should and when the team that recovered the flight recorder got back it brought the parasites with them and hell broke lose.
I don't want to spoil because I really like the story of the game and the atmosphere really makes this game what it is. The AI of the xenomorph is really really bad sometimes, could just the difficulty that makes the AI stupid but you can hide in the open sometimes and the xenomorph just passes by you. Like the picture beneath, sometimes this works, but sometimes it doesn't.
Well I really enjoy this game so I would actually recommend it to everyone that is a fan of the alien movies.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive Bloodhound update
Now it is here the new update!
Bloodhoud is a new operation and with it a new update came, a leveling system so you can level up to different ranks. They don't have anything to do with the matchmaking ranks, it's just a profile level system, seems like it's based on the different ranks in the military. Every first level up each week gives the player a drop, here comes the tricky part, if you got bloodhound operation you can get drops from more collections than what you can without the operation pass. I hope I can clarify this for some people because me and my friends had a difficulty to see what you got for perks by having the operations.
I am thinking that the rank can have something to do with the chance for something good to drop, this is not fair for the casual players but sometimes developers do this to keep the hardcore gamers satisfied. A good example where developers focused more on the casual players is when blizzard released the latest expansions for World of Warcraft, it got from pretty hard and challenging to become very casual and easy in my opinion. I took this example since me and my friends played World of Warcraft on a higher level than casuals do and all of us ended up leaving the game. I am not meaning to say that casual players are bad this is just to clarify what happens to the hardcore players if you don't give them some sugar.
More updates are that the CS:GO engine have been updated to the latest steam API SDK and lots of other fixes I will provide a link to where you can read the entire update. This actually makes the game a lot funnier to play!! It's always fun when you have new stuff to do ingame.
Have fun and play safe!

Mortal Kombat X Latest Patch
I am a week late with the "latest" patch update, last week Netherrealm with the cooperation with HVS to make the PC port from consoles. For you who didn't know Netherrealm only developes console versions on their games and then WB hires a second company to make the game ported from console to PC.
Last week they released the patch that should fix the fps drop and bad performance, this patch made all the saved progress to be deleted from those who downloaded the patch. I didn't get the patch before they rolled it back. I did get it last week though and now they have added more options to the video settings. They have added v-sync if you got tearing, an fps fix (that in my opinion doesn't make anything. I am not having big troubles with the game I can enjoy it but some maps are completely unplayable still. This patch has NOT fixed the entirety of the problems, I still think that the game will need several patches just to work properly on mid range computers and not only on high end computers. For me the fps drops have been fixed but I have been fixing things the bios just to make some of my hardware better. You could download MSI afterburner and look at GPU and CPU usage to see if you got a bottleneck somewhere and overclock after that. MSI afterburner works for both Nvidia and radeon graphic cards.
The patch got released and so did Jason Voorhees from friday the 13th. So go out and try him out, he is really funny to play and he got very easy combos.

Killing Floor 2 - The Best Zed Survival Game
So this is the second game entitled killing floor from tripwire, I played the first game a lot and really enjoyed it. The way you play this game is very funny and it got some cool features to it.
Killing floor is a zed survival game, either you play alone or you play online/co-op. From what I have seen in this game they have different game modes. But I am used to the zed survival mode with different waves, the difficulty can be set from a various set of difficulties like hell on earth, normal and easy. The amount of waves can also be set, after you have beaten all waves you will fight the boss, he got several phases with different attacks and it's a good way to end the games with.
Killing floor 2 provides the perks that killing floor 1 also did, you play as a commander, medic, berserker or support(Se the provided picture below).
What they did in killing floor 2 that differs from the first is that the perks got higher levels and the medic class is not completely useless. You can actually get a lot of kills as a medic and the medic weapons are very fun to play with. I have not been trying any of the others since I wanted to try the medic. This game is still in early access and there are only 3 maps that are playable so I will wait with playing this until they have released some more maps. According to the dev you should be prepared for complete stats whipes during early access.
Tripwire have gone a long way with this game, it's complete graphic level up compared to many of the other games that they have developed. The game itself feels A LOT better than the other games they have developed like red orchestra/rising sun and killing floor. I am not saying that tripwires old games are bad, but they I don't get a good feeling when I play them. Killing floor 2 gives me a different sort of feeling, a feeling that the game is thought through and the developers actually took the credit from killing floor and made this game as good as possible.
I think killing floor 2 could be the game gem for tripwire, this game have been quite hyped around my friend circle.
They uploaded a movie where they interviewed the person that made all the movements for all the zed in this game, and just from that interview you can hear how much time they spent in making this game this good. The zed's doesn't move as if they were completely mindless, they got nice movements and I actually think it's quite creepy the way some of the zeds move.
I really enjoyed playing this game so I can't do anything else than to recommend this game. Bring your friends, it's time to slaughter zeds.

Mortal Kombat X FPS FIX UPDATE
I have now been having tremendous problems with the fps in mortal kombat x, even though I run it on a computer that is more than enough to run this game on.
The game itself is very bad optimized for the PC, only super high end computers run this without any problem. The AMD drivers are not running this game very well, the AMD developers are working on it last time I checked.
But if you suffer from FPS problems in Mortal Kombat X there are a couple of fixes that you can do. What I have learned by googling and watching several other peoples problem is that the game doesn't use the GPU (graphic processing unit) to max but uses only 1/3 of it. The game forces itself on your CPU(central processing unit) instead and makes it go to the maximum.
How to solve this and make the game run on the GPU instead is so go to video and put shadows to very low and everything else on high, set window boxing on OFF. In advance you should put motion blur to off.
Restart the game after you have changed anything in the video options since the game doesn't change it without a restart.
This helped me to play the game at a way better FPS, some maps are still terrible like sky temple and the krypt still lags. Hopefully NetherRealm will fix these problems soon so everyone can enjoy this good game.
UPDATE: After the patch that was supposed to fix everything this doesn't really cut it anymore, I am playing on maxed out graphics and are not having fps problems. This could possibly still change the fps for some players but I think they have fixed some of the problems.
Peace out!

VAC-Ban wave
This is the second big vac wave in a very short time span. This is fantastic, the only thing we could hope for is a faster vac ban since you can cheat and not get banned for a couple of months.
The reason behind this is so the hackers doesn't know which hack they got banned for which makes bigger ban waves, but it ruins the game while you play against the hackers.
On this site you can see latest vac bans: https://vacstat.us/list/latest/vac
Fun site to keep track off.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive - Become Better At The Game
So this post will mainly have the focus on how you become better at this game. People want to rank up and become lem, supreme and global, but this aint easy unless you hack your way up. The picture below shows my rank and how much I have been playing on the matchmaking servers. Which I do not approve of, the matchmaking servers are very very bad and they contain a lot of hackers on the higher ranks. Keep one thing in mind, before I even start writing anything, ANYONE can have a bad day when playing. So if it is going terrible for you, then don't be mad it will just result in a worse performance!
Lets talk a little bit about the ELO system that CS GO is using, the ELO is based on multiple things, win/loss rounds and the total score is somewhat important. Basically you get ELO points and when you get over a certain amount you rank up to a new rank.
The better ranks you play against the more likely it is for you to rank up and if you play against people with lower rank it is more likely for you to derank on loss.
The matchmaking system tries to match people so that the sum of all ELO points are the same, lets say we got 5 eagles and they got 500 elo points together and they face a team with 5 mixed ranks and they got 600 elo points. Then the team with more elo points got a higher percentage to win which makes their loss harder on their ELO than the other teams loss. There are several guides explaining the ELO in detail, so if you want to know more I suggest you read them.
What is required to become better?
Lets get into what you need to have to become better at the game and be able to rank up.

What is required to become better?
Lets get into what you need to have to become better at the game and be able to rank up.
- Game sense
- Aim
- Know the call outs for each map.
These three things are important to be able to become better at the game. The game sense is something that you will get when you have played a lot, another way to get game sense is to watch pro matches so you know what to do in different situations, lets say you are against 2 players, either you go for it or you don't and that decision should not be thought about, you have to know what to do. You should be secure about your decision and don't feel any insecurity because then it will probably fail. So how to get game sense is to either play a lot or watch other people play so you learn what to do in different situations. According to me the game sense is what makes you win the duels, since if you got experience you know what to do.
The aim is kind of obvious, but you have to out aim the others to win, or hold angles and win the battles. There are different ways of getting better aim but the overall most important aspect to become a better aimer is to train and play a lot. There are lots of workshops maps designed to help you become better at aiming, spray control maps, aim maps. The best way in my opinion is to play a lot of CSDM(FFA if you like that better), because this way you get used to chaos so when it's only 5 players you are calm. CSDM also gives you better reflexes, so you should not play CSDM to win but play it and try to improve your aim like make a rule for yourself: "Only flickshots with the awp", "Spray only". This will improve your aim 100%, a couple of minutes each day of csdm and you will get used to aiming.
The third point is know the call outs and this is VERY important, it's a big difference between lots of call outs even though they sound the same. The only way to know call outs is to play and study the maps, watch pro games and listen to the casters. Every nationality got different call outs on the maps for some reason though so it can be very confusing when you play sometimes, but you got a minimap so watch it sometimes.
These are the basics of becoming better but there are better ways of playing competitive CS GO than match making. I would highly suggest that you get premium on ESEA (clickable link), or if you don't want to pay there is FACEIT. I will go into the differences, pros and cons with these two websites.
ESEA
This is what most pros are using to search for competitive matches, they provide a better anti cheat system than vac and the way you search for matches are really easy just get into a lobby or search for yourself. Random maps but you can pick the map-pool. The application you search matches with is a stand-alone program. The ranking system in ESEA is RWS, round winning score, which is a score based on how much you are doing each round that you win so if you get 4 kills one round you lose, you get 0 RWS. If you get 4 kills on a round you win, you get a lot of RWS. The RWS is calculated each winning round.
I only see pros with ESEA to be honest, and I am being modest. I have never had any problems with ESEA.
FACEIT
So this is a website application, you create a lobby and search on their website. When you have found a game you get to ban the maps you don't want to play and pick the servers. The ranking system is levels that are based on what ELO you got.
Pros:
It's easy to search, free so everyone can use it, it got different laddes and points that you can buy items with.
Cons:
Since it's free everyone can use it, this is both pro and con since the difference between the skills can be you who are global elite can end up with silvers, this is because it's not very likely that a silver buys esea. So this is a big problem with FACEIT, the skill range can vary a lot.
So if you can live without having a high MM rank and want to play on good servers I would suggest playing ESEA.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive Introduction
Hello there!
So here will be my first post that is actually about something important and not just nonsense. This will be the post on one of my favorite games, Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Since everyone know about CS (should at least) I will skip the intro and tell your what it is.
My career as a CS player started when I was about 14 years old this was when I first owned my own copy of Counter Strike: anthology which contained the hit CS 1.6. I usually played on something called "spelarenan" a community with public servers and their own ranking system and you could also search for PCWs. Oh well that's how it all started, I only played 1.6 and I didn't approve of Source when it was released, it didn't have that 1.6 feeling that I was used to. I still played a couple of hours CS: Source since they had some funny maps like breakfloor.
Well we are not here to write about old memories.
CS: Global Offensive was released on 21 aug 2012 which is actually a long time ago.
What we have today on Global Offensive was nothing I even gave a thought about having when I started playing this game.
The first year, the CS: GO scene was kind of small since there was only one team winning all the tournaments and this was Ninjas In Pyjamas. But as the scene grew and more teams joined in the community started to grow and now we got ingame skins, different clients to play on, workshop hubs, bets, jackpots, trading forums and much more. There is so much more to CS: GO than just the game.
The CS: GO dev group isn't a very big dev group in valve and they are giving all they got to keep this game up to date and top notch.
With this post I just wanted to introduce everyone to a big subject of this blog. I will try to keep up to date and have the latest news and thoughts of this game.

My First Post
Hello there.
As my first post I will just shortly introduce what kind of material this blog will contain. First of I am swedish so english is not my native language keep that in mind if something is wrong with the grammar or spelling.
I will most likely post posts about various games and tutorials on how to improve your game. I hope you will find what you are searching for.
Until next time.
